Rachel Holian

Rachel creates tiny installations consisting of collections of miniature porcelain vessels with stamps. She seeks a sense of unity, and the spirit of the simple wheel formed vessel. Each grouping of vessels has a meaning and a feeling specific to that particular collection, and personal to the maker. Her hope is that the pieces will have a resonance with the audience and grow and develop meaning associated with the new placements and environments. The installations are to be treasured items that bring joy and feeling linked to memories, holding stories and meanings personal to each individual.
