Sasha Wardell • April 1 - 25
Sasha’s hallmark style is a distinctive combination of pure white slip cast bone china, treated with unique decorating techniques and finished in a carefully chosen palette of muted, subtle colours.
Sasha’s carefully produced distinctive work embraces and reflects contemporary taste and lifestyle. Each piece is individually made using industrial processes that Sasha has personally developed.
Her work found early success in galleries and stores across the world from Liberty’s, Fortnum and Mason’s and the Contemporary Applied Arts Gallery in London to Barneys in Tokyo, The Habitat Centre in New Delhi; The Raglan Gallery in Sydney and The Object Space in Atlanta.
Alongside her own practice she has run workshops dedicated to bone china and mould making for many years in Belgium, Hungary, Australia, South Africa, Canada, India and Japan. She continues to exhibit and sell worldwide and, after running residential mould making and bone china workshops in France for many years, she now runs them from her studio in Wiltshire.
